I mean its not like its "yellow journalism". They aren't reporting lies, they just choose to report only the negatives or positives of a candidate. So what's the bid deal with a network being bias towards a candidate? I mean i can understand it being a problem if MSNBC reported that McCain owns nuclear weapons, or if FOX reported that Obama killed a McCain supporter, but that's not the case. They are just expressing their opinions towards a candidate that they like. (freedom of the press)|||It's simply unprofessional.
A reporter is not being paid to tell people what to think.
They are paid to tell us the plain unwashed facts and it is our right to decide for ourselves what to make of those facts.
If the reporters in Germany had not been biased, the NAZI party would have never been voted in!
|||The whole idea of journalism/journalists is that there are no sides. It/they report(s) the facts to inform viewers and readers. When you have journalists who are biased, they don't report all the facts, rather they only report the facts that make their choice more appealing and that in a nutshell is not journalism.
When journalists lose their objectivity they become commentators and nothing more.|||there is freedom of the press, but when you're watching a huge media station, you kind of expect them to present both sides equally in an unbiased manner just because its the right thing to do.
