What can we do to combat bias in the media?

After reviewing the presidential elections, I have come to notice that there is an obvious bias in the media, whether that be because of business profit, sponsorship, or personal opinion.





However, that does not mean we should stand idle. We should seek ways to overcome or combat this bias. Some ideas could include a government-run news network or more strict policies for news reporting.





What do you think we could do? Any input.

The fact is that if two different people see, hear, or read the same news article, one will claim the story is biased to the right, the other will say the bias is to the left.


Bias is in the eye and mind of the beholder, always has been, and always will be.
