Fellow conservatives and libertarians: What can we do to end media bias?

I am getting sick of the media bias, what can we do to stop it?|||honestly

the whole racism thing is a bit over played though|||As long as Americans see it for what it is that's all that matters. Propaganda only effects the gullible.



If it wasn't for corporatism most would be out of business by now, corporatism needs them to be a distraction from truth.|||spread the word|||quit watching fox and listening to limbaugh. turn instead to alternative media.|||Speak out against it; argue it and educate people about it.



hahahah someone said the media has a conservative bias....LMAO. ya Fox news and talk radio and thats IT. DOnt mention alllll the other progressive talk shows and every single news network other than Fox|||I know what you mean they say we our the bias ones all we have is Fox News.





Liberals have MSNBC, ABC, and CNN.|||It is already happening. I can't remember the last time I bought a newspaper. Traditional media is falling away and is being replaced by a more grass roots, interactive type. blogs, talk radio, Y/A, etc.|||Close down FOX news.|||For starters get rid of people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter whose telling of half-truths are causing many people to not understand the real world.|||This is what happens when you get rid of legislation like the fairness doctrine. Thank Reagan for our corrupt media.|||Turn the TV and Radio off. Stop surfing the Internet fo find it.|||I assume you are referring to the FOX-esque "right-wing" media as well as the MSNBC-esque "left-wing" media?


I ask because many people think the media is biased just because they don't report the story the way the viewer wants it to be told.


Try BBC America for a different take on US news.|||luckily the "state owned media" seems to sway in your favor more often then not.





Sure they are beating up on Cain right now, but look how they act the OWS movement, while they think the Tea Party is awesome.

Advertisers spend money where they get the most exposure, as the ratings drop so do the number of advertisers.|||Try not asking for another tax break.|||Get into power or spread the truth around. I feel you man I'm sick of this "all cops are filthy" bullshit just because the news overplays the few cases of police violence making one incident stretch over five f*cking weeks.|||Well, you could crumple up the First Amendment, throw it in the wastebasket, then have the government control media content.



Other than that, I guess you're going to have to live with the fact that the media doesn't always mirror your opinions back at you. Poor you.
