Is there really a bias on the East Coast in regards to West Coast Sports Programs?

Many west coast sports fans and serious followers of the game of college football and basketball specifically, feel there is a negative bias of the teams out west. Like Pac-10, Big Sky, Big West, Mountain West, West Coast and Western Athletic Conference teams.

Considering the east and mid west, and south/southern conferences get more exposure due to the time differences, ie; not being the only reason. Many feel the bias coming from the sports analyst. Is there truth to this? Or simply the way it is.|||Yes, their is, because over on the East coast they don't watch and see our games because of the time difference, thus, they can really not give an honest opinion, so they give the nod to who they see.

The West coast sports analysts usually aren't national analysts, so their opinions aren't heard by the whole country.
