Is there a name for a bias when it is an outside influence affecting the data?

Respose bias is a factor WITHIN the sampling method, so is there a type of bias where some outside factor affects the data? Thanks!|||well there's measurement error where you fail to account for something that can cause significant differences in what you are trying to measure and what you are actually measureing.

also there's confirmation bias as well as paradolia that causes the ones collecting the data to unfairly, but sub conciously have low standards for what consititutes a "hit" but high standards for what constitutes a "miss", this specific problem can be removed by "blinding" the data collection, instead of specifically saying "this group was given meat" and "this group was given tofu" the groups are simply "group 1" and "group 2" only after the comparisons are made is the connection made between which group got which meal.
