What are some specific examples of liberal bias in the media?

I'm really mystified by this. Conservatives keep claiming that there is a liberal bias in the media, but they fail to provide any concrete examples. It seems that they perceive any lack of an overtly conservative bias, such as is found at Fox "News", as evidence of liberal bias.|||How about the way the media pilloried Clinton over lying about an affair, but let Bush off the hook for lying to Congress, the U.N., and the American public about WMDs in Iraq? Oh, wait....that would be an example of a conservative bias. This is fairly common. If a woman "claims" that she was harrassed, then it's automatically the man's fault. Never mind that the WOMAN WENT to the MAN'S appartment at 2:00 in the morning for a NIGHT CAP and ended up NAKED... Uh... Don't know about you, but I'd be hard pressed to go up to some guy's appartment at that hour of the night if he wasn't my honey bunny.





Woman gets knocked-up, but it's the man's fault??? I'm sorry, but unless you were raped, that is not so. It takes two to tango!!!





Feminism equals "men are crap". That's liberalism at its best. Men are pillars of our society. I'd hate to think what a society of only women would be... Uh, you'd end up with a world that looks and sounds like The View with hags nagging, whining, etc...

I've got plenty more...|||Well, as much as I dislike the conservative attack dogs and the Fox camp, I would have to say that anyone who thinks Ted Kennedy is still an effective leader of liberal causes would have a liberal bias. More accurately might be to say a "democrat" bias because most of the democrats who claim to be liberal are far from it.|||How about talking about all the people killed or injured in iraq and all the other negetive stuff. They never mention all the heros and positive victories over there. The Republicans scream traitor whenever the media prints anything that doesn't perfectly comport with their positions. It's a tactic that's been used since time immemorial.|||An inability to see the bias that exists in the MSM is prima facie evidence of myopia.





My "liberal" (in fact, they're anything but liberal) friends who claim that, in fact, the MSM is biased towards conservative values are very, very far left - living in a dream world where everything of significance in this country will be "fair", "socially-responsible", "providing social justice", etc.





The evidence of conservative bias offered up by these "liberals" is that these MSM outlets are owned by large corporations. What this point illustrates is the anti-corporate, anti-industrial viewpoint that this crowd holds so dear.





The last time I checked, this country's corporations, the evil Fox News included, would show you non-stop videos of babies playing in their playpens if they could sell the airtime at top dollar. They DON'T CARE what they show you as long as it sells. They are in the business of selling airtime - end of story.





This, obviously, explains how it could be possible for a corporation to allow a liberal bias in the MSM that THEY own. Some folks want liberalism delivered to them and, for the right price, those dastardly corporations that own the MSM will meet that need. Shocking, just shocking!





Or, they'll dish up conservative bias if that's what you want. Oh, the horror of it all!





The reasons conservatives know that there is a liberal bias in the MSM is that they watch it; listening carefully to what is said and how it is said - day after day, week after week, month after month, etc.





After awhile, it ain't too difficult to get the drift! The bad guys are, in order: the corporations, the military, politicians and judges who don't support the '60s agenda (of my generation, god luv 'em - misguided though they are), etc.





The good guys are the:





"social activists" (we called 'em sh** disturbers when I was coming up)


NGOs (despite their general lack of meaningful achievement)


foundations (you have to look for this one)


UN (don't get me started on that crowd)


politicians and judges who support the social agenda with which the MSM agrees


and on and on.





Oh, and in general elections, decade after decade, the MSM comes in as having voted at 85% - 90% for the Democratic Party's candidate. What, did that one slip by you?
