I have newspaper articles about global warming and climate change. I have to identify if they are being bias or not but im not sure how to do that. Please help!|||Does it clearly state facts or does it try to convince you? What is the headline? If it overstates a warning, tries to convince you , or sneers at the opposing argument, it's biased. If it states all the known facts, then gives the opinions of acknowledged experts which are clearly presented as opinion, then it's probably unbiased.|||Bias is a relative term. What I think you would be looking for is obvious lies or misleading statements. With as much fraud as there is in America today, it would take a great deal of perseverance to determine facts from falsehoods.
Since you need to "prove" bias in newspaper articles about global warming and climate change, you'd need to confirm old records of where the "icecaps" of the Artic and Antartic poles were at, at specific times of the years and compare them to current records. There is another slower method of determining whether or not global warming is true or not, by comparing meteorlogical records past and present.
The fastest way is determining icecaps at certain times of the years, past and present. It has been reported that they are slowly receding year by year.
