How good would Len Bias have been in the NBA?

I just saw the ESPN documentary on Bias last night and he was an outstanding player. Would he have been on the level of Michael Jordan? I know we'll never know, but what do you think?|||Dude don't take the word of people who never even heard of bias before ESPN's piece. All they know is Jordan Jordan Jordan because of all the great marketing. Go check out the terps in 83/84 and you will see who was a greater player. That guys death along with a few injuries and drug prob. killed the 90's NBA. The guy was a better player than Jordan at the Collegiate level no ifs ands or buts about it!|||here is another great article on Bias:

Some think that he would have been nearly as good. What's really scary is that if he was as good as expectations, then he would have actaully have challenged Jordan. Maybe Jordan wouldn't have gotten bored, and wouldn't have gone and played baseball, and would have been even more motivated, and even BETTER...

Maybe Bias-Jordan could have been as good of a rivalry Johnson-Bird.

The bust potential was certainly there though. The problem is that we just can't say. And we never will...|||He would'nt be at Michael's level. Jordan was way too good. But he would probably be one of the most dominate players ever. But there could be a small chance that he could have been a bust. There have been great players in college but when they came to the NBA they sucked. That happans so much with top draft picks.|||Probably not the level of Jordan, but he would've been damn good. Larry Bird said of his death It’s the cruelest thing I’ve ever heard,” Coming from one of the top player of all-time that say something.

At 6'8" 225, with his skills, and Bird %26amp; McHale ...he would have been awesome.......|||to be honest i think Bias would have been better then Jordan.|||Considering he used coccaine, probably not very good. Another Olden Polynice at best I'll estimate.|||I think he would have been really good, but there is no way of knowing.

This is like wondering how great Ernie Davis would have been in the NFL
