If so many people are concerned about a liberal media bias?

Why don't they support balanced or rightist imaged media companies? The media is not a branch of government, and the bias reflects what their polls show people want to see. It is the vote of the advertising dollars that decides the bias, not a conspiracy. There are right wing media outlets out there that you could watch for equally biased news if that is your concern. Buy more products advertised on those channels, and more advertisers will pay for right wing media, and it will balance things out.|||What is more amazing is that the ones who whine about the media bias are the ones who killed the fairness doctrine.|||The notion that the media has a liberal bias is false and nothing but propaganda from the Neo-Con fringe. Nothing could be farther from reality.

These independent channels share global perspective on world and national issues without any censorship. They are not beholden to any corporations or governments and therefore are free to tell the truth on any subject, whether it is popular or not. There are only two possible answers:


1.) The media has very little influence and complaining about the media is like complaining about which direction the wind is blowing.





or


2.) The assumption that the media is liberal is incorrect.|||If the media was "fair and balanced"..





Every debate about Global warming would hold a panel of 9 scientists that believe, and 1 that doesn't..
